Valentine Elf

Boy, was Christian thrilled with the concept that an elf had brought him a tiger puzzle! 

Blocks

Christian loves these foam blocks. Mommy hates them because he never ever puts them away. He and Mary love to build these elaborate "castles." He always insists that every block be used. When it is finished does he  stand back and admire fifteen-plus minutes of work? Naw, he'd rather knock it down. 

Cookin' Cookies

Whenever Christian realizes Mom is making something yummy, he has to be part of the action. He'll go push one of our black bar stools right in her way. It's not particularly helpful, but it sure is cute. 

Conference 2012

As you can tell, these two critters really enriched Mommy's General Conference experience. 

Picasso

Christian has become Sarah's buddy in the art room. This is his most elaborate picture yet. He took a ton of time with it. After he finished, he dragged person after person down to the art room to admire his work. 

Memory

Christian is super funny to play Memory with. It took him a while to catch on. When he'd flip two over that weren't alike, he'd say, "Oops, let me try that again!" That, or he'd try to "sneak a peek" under a card before he made a decision.

I don't know what our neighbor thinks of the random snowman in his yard, but we think it's pretty cute. 

Scheel's

A new sporting goods store just opened and one lazy Saturday we decided to head down and see it. (We were mislead by reports that it would not be crowded.) Christian was a fan.

 The archway at the front was a fishtank! 

 Christian was a big fan of the kid's interactive shooting range.

 They had tons of photo opportunities. Mommy insisted that Christian hold the skunk in this one.
