When Dad decided to run to represent House District 18 at the Senate, it was a big deal for the whole family. Dad had worked super hard (knocking the door of every candidate), so when election day rolled around everyone was happy to help. Christian, siblings, and cousins suited up in bright orange "Hawkes Rocks" tee-shirts to become Dad's cheer squad. Happily, Dad's hard work paid off and he was elected!
